E36 M3 COUPE, REAR SPEAKER UPGRADE! WHAT SIZE???

Hi all,
Car is a 1995 E36 M3 COUPE!
PROBLEM IS WHAT SIZE REAR SPEAKERS CAN I INSTALL?
THEY ARE ENCLOSED NOKIA speakers on the rear shelf, not HARMON KARDON units.
Looking at the web comes up with no definitive answers, just people guessing!
Anyone know for certain 4", 5" 1/4, or can i install 6x9?
Your advice greatly appreciated.
