Have I heard correctly that only one TVR has got into Le Mans and the other is only
way down the reserve list?

That would be such a shame for the team and us fans.

Hope I've heard wrong.

I really hope this is a bum steer, can't see the team being that intersted in going to all that effort to field one car.
Hope this is totally wrong or its going to spoil the support of a few thousand of the paying public as well .

Hi Guys,
It would seam to be true we have 1 entry,
and second reserve for GT, but hey thats not to bad at our 1st attempt at leman's is it.

We have made a huge effort at geting to Lemans, and its paid of,and we will be going so again thats not bad,and we have the best supporters in the world,so I don't think we should be disappointed.

Bert.

Thanks for clarification Bert, very much appreciated.

Are you able to say if the team will carry any restrictions due to numbers sold?

If the intense support you will receive could be converted, you'd win the race out right.

Wishing you & the team every success - we'll be right there with you all week. Roll on June.

Cheers for the clarification Burt, still very disapointing though.
What historically are the chances of the reseve car getting a run , here's hoping.
I assume that there will be a dozen Porka's, not that its a bad car mind, however soon it will be the Porche GT championship , can't be good for the sport IMHO.

Errr, be French?!

I'm sure Monsieur Pescarolo would admit to that these days.

Um 9 from 14, certainly know how to make it diverse for the crowds don't they. I wonder why other manufacturers think hard before investing money in GT racing then .

Harry

Still dissapointed, and they want to build our multi-billion pound aircraft carriers too

Big can of worms there Harry.

It seems one team completed every race in the ALMS for two years and did well
at Sebring and STILL got over looked.

No logic there, except perhaps...French!

They indeed should be able to run both cars. They are definately more qualified than e.g. Choro Q Racing Team (actually never heared of them) or Welter (Yes, that was the one which kicked out No 91 last year). To top it off there are five Courages in LMP2 and no Pilbeam although I know there were some applications. ACO

News to me, Thought only one actually finished proper

I wonder if a French Consortium took over TVR(good help us if they did) we would get More In

Prehaps TVRCC of France should try and raise a team.

Well done Bert.
Under what circumstances will the reserves get in?
Im guessing if someone else;
1. fails to meet regualtions
2. team falls apart (lack of funds, resources)
3. team pulls out
Are there other reasons? What hope is there on getting the other car in?
Do the reserve cars still have to do the practice and qualifying sessions?

Well done Bert, Gareth and Team

An entry into Le Mans at your first attempt, all your hard work and preperations are paying off

One entry will surely allow you to be more focussed, without having to stretch resource.

Wish you all well and look forward to seeing the cars in action soon.
