Right its time to continue work on the Noble,

The floor on mine needs sorting, should i just replace with same from a noble dealer or is there a better alternative? where do i get replacement stainless screws and what silicone should be used?

My power steering cooler appears to be leaking onto the front clam so again should i get factory replacement or is there a better alternative?

I need two oil coolers, a front mount one for the engine and one for the gearbox, what sizes and what oil pump should i get for the gearbox?

Also i want to replace the power steering hoses to the cooler up front and also 4 lengths of hose for the other two coolers, what size, what fittings and where supplies?

Already know i need valve springs will be from mountune and a further step up the helix clutch ladder to unleash the rest of the power but the rest is already done.

Cheers

Hi Graham , looks like you are going to be busy !!! I got all my coolers from "Earls" at silverstone they are also able to supply you with all your pipes and fittings , my gearbox cooler came from Think Automotive it's a Mocal unit , you will also need s sandwich plate which is special for the noble so has to come from Think also !!

I replaced my flor at Xmas
I bought aluminium cut to size and then cut the holes using the old as a template
The mastic to use is sikaflex
I also put neoprene on where it fixes to the frame
The aluminium was approx 80quid

for my oil and gearbox cooler I went to speedflow and other than the sandwich plate (that has to come from Think) I got everything i needed from them. I also fitted both of them up front as little air goes through the side pods.

I have done the upgraded clutch twice as I swopped the box out for 6speed and its all different, they are both AP units from Noble modded by Helix, you cant go direct and I went through Jetsteam the 2nd time and can highly recomend. Unless you plan over 480ftlb you wont need the paddle clutch, neither type are heavy.
Id recomend you lighten your flywheel while your there around £150 from a mate of Tuxmans smile

I have a list of the parts and cost if you wanting.

Cheers Guys that gives me some things to look at.

Well my car is already running 480lb/ft of torque courtesy of yellowshed, thats why im upgrading from the helix upgraded standard AP unit as im starting to experience a bit of clutch slip when the car is hot. biggrin Its brutal torque! Paddle clutch and over 500 lb/ft soon. smile

yep thats correct, the power curve and torque shoot up then at 4000rpm go flat as the boost is tailed off, its mapped just below the point of valve float and gives 460bhp. Its just a temporary map till the springs and paddle clutch are done.

thats increadable power, when my engine still had std springs yelloshed couldn't go beyond 390bhp without float.

You must have the 6 speed box, if you have the modded helix clutch then you can just replace the plate to the paddle item, think it was around £250, got mine from Dave at Jetstream smile
