I wonder if anone can help me?

I love my cars as probably most people do on this site, but luckily within our company we have been allowed to have a company car to the value of between 11k and 12k, everything that i would like is probably around 15k upwards, is there a way to maybe go halves or anything like that?

i dont think i can buy the car myself and then charge the miliage back to the company because i cannot really justify the miliage although i wouldnt mind doing that.

Another problem is that if the company buys a car that is say 3 or 4 years old then you still get taxed on the value of it when it was new (list price) is this correct?

i deally i would like to buy a nice 5 series diesel 3 years old

any suggestions?

Couldn't you ask for a car allowance instead?

We need the full details:

Do you get an allowance as already suggested, and if so what is the allowance?

What level are you taxed at?

If you buy your own car, does the company lay down any special restrictions?

Presuming you do not have a fuel card, what mileage rates will you get? This is VERY important.

I could go on, but I am sure you get the picture.
