Hotty....... veneer call

I have an oldskool cd head-unit that came with my Wedge. Unfortunatley it broke in an untimely fashion days before my European Wedge trip, so I ended up swapping it out, can't be doing without
tunes.......


I have been meaning to get it repaired and back in the Wedge, no skool like the old skool, I say.
It has a matching veneer look about it including the surround that came with it, looked like it was meant to be.

The only thing that bothered me about it was that when the head unit is closed, the reverse of the face off is just black. Now there is a recess that would take a matching piece of veneer nicely.

Do you have any cut offs or spare veneer floating around that I can have or purchase via beer tokens.
I haven't taken any measurements as of yet , just an idea so far.

I am positive that I have just what you are looking for, if you send me the a prox size I will check on my return to the british summer (rain).

Cutting its a pain but if you take your time it will be ok.
