LED rear lights

Ok then chaps... I have ordered a selection of light units to play with, and am starting making prototype light unit next week. We are hoping to make a unit that is a direct replacement for the original Ford unit, but we have still got to read up on the regs, for example the fog light has to be 100mm away from the brake lights etc.
For now to keep things simple they are going to look along the lines of the Noblemods items, for cost and simplicity, as lenses may let water in and mist up and so on.
I have made a mould of mondeo units already, but will still be a few weeks before I have had time to make moulds to mount the led light units. Then will have to make them fit into front face. I am also wanting them to mount on in exactly the same way as the Mondeo ones with 4x 8mm studs and nuts, so that it is a diy replacement.
Will keep you all informed with the progress.

You wait for ages, then two come along at the same time!!

We can't start until end of September, so will be watching this closely as whoever gets to produce, there is a limited market.
