Hi all,

I've got an Omega Seamaster with steel strap. I've only had it a month or a two and they are already some scuffs on the strap. Obviously it is to be expected but I am still devastated. Is there a safe way to polish these out as if they were swirl marks on the car?

If it's made of metal, it's a bracelet not a strap.
Yes you can potentially polish scratches out with either a Cape Cod cloth if not too deep or Garyflex blocks followed by Cape Cod if a bit deeper.

It happens to all Seamasters, mine included.

Fibreglass pens are supposed to be really good for getting scratches out of the bracelet. Personally I wouldn't bother though, all that polish does is remove metal, to keep a Seamaster bracelet looking pristine it'll need polishing every week, which won't be good for it.

Leave it as it is and watch your watch mature over time, it's natural wink
