350i Updates

Hi all .Iknow i asked this question a while ago.But here goes .Does any one know who is responsable for the styling upgrades on the 350i.Olliver Winterbottom .Who knows .Great looking cars all of them .Cheers Mike

Not sure but definately wasn't Winterbottom, he'd left the building by then.

According to one of my books it was Oliver Winterbottom who designed the style and Ian Jones who did chassis design,both ex Lotus.

It was Winterbottom. He also stlyed the Lotus Eclat hence the similar front ends...

Think he did the Esprit and Elite as well. Oh no, you say, it was Giugiaro who did the Esprit: well yes, he produced the concept car but it had to be restyled, partly because the windscreen angle was too shallow... mind you, he should have had a slap for the rear of the Elite.
