To old for me to appreciate it, doesn't really do it.
But it's a straight 3-litre, so engine must sound not half bad.
Philistine. But it's a straight 3-litre, so engine must sound not half bad.

And the Vauxhall straight six was considered to be one of the finest sounding of that type of lump; especially the 24 valve version which the later Monza should have been fitted with - many have been converted.
What does the S Pack include? Most of the Mk1s I've seen have been autos - is yours the same? And does it have an outlandishly coloured velour interior? That's the main attraction on the top spec ones; I've seen pale green and Bordeaux red before. Can we see the inside?

S Pack consists of LSD and Bilstein dampers, this car is 5 speed manual, I think all S Pack Monzas were manual but could be wrong. The inside is beige/gold velour, maybe the least offensive colour!
Hi Gary; welcome to Pistonheads
Is your caps lock stuck?
I think spoke with the owner of this car as he was selling it (ebay ad) and recommended he went over to Autobahnstormers. I recommend the same as the car is most probably known the club. There is a wealth of knowledge on that site regarding these cars and we also have a few of our own resident guru's on here.
Nice car but I may be a little biased
