As per requests, here is the reason the Tango Bathtub didn't appear at Rolls Royce this morning, and a sheepish Hobzy had to arrive in the diesel barge and park around the corner frown

A combination of too many hours driving the barge across France last week, greasy road and (mainly) poor driving by me frown Its literally 30 yards outside our village, I drive it every day... hit the NS zone, feathered it, felt ok so booted it - tt.

Thanks to IIyama, Paulbav and Ironictwist for making me feel better and making it worthwhile still turning up.

Lots to do now!

Will update when I know what state the chassis is in frown

well, definitely needs new bumpers and lights. The wheels didnt hit anything so suspension should be OK. Exhaust was knackered by the verge, but thats no the end of the world.

The big decider will be what the front of the chassis looks like when the bumpers come off.

Fingers crossed though, it didnt look too bad.

Ah, thats bad to see frown

Hopefully its not in too bad condition underneath.

The roads weren't friendly this morning, very greasy and the kind of roads weren't nice for wet weather driving.

Oh no. Really sorry to see that, what a shame. Well done for still turning up. How did you get it home, did you drive it or did it need trailering back?

Managed to drive it back but the front right susp is bent. Wishbone is banana shaped. Will look at the rest tomorrow and take pics for internet ribbing.

Actually if you have a mo in the next few weeks can you pop over and have a look to see if I've missed anything obvious? No rush...

Update:

Ouch:

Fubared wishbone:

Rivnuts did their job and popped through so should be ok with big washers etc - I have a rear arch left over from last years spin. Fingers crossed the new light will cover the old holes frown

Brought plenty of the hedge back with me. After clearing out the debris I can't see any chassis damage but will obviously need to get it checked.
