One for next years diary for the Herts and Beds Nobility?
Discussion
Discovered a local classic car show today. It's in Tewin vilage, just outside Welwyn Garden City - wasn't aware they are running it as they are only in their third year.
Good selection of around 150ish cars ranging from some early Rolls Royces through a superb Jag D type to plenty of recent and current supercars (Lambos, GT3s, Ferraris etc). All on show on the local cricket pitch, so nice setting. No Noble's sadly - might have been if I'd known about it earlier! Carrera GT on display owned by Anthony Hamilton (Lewis' dad) - who was there as they live somewhere close by.
Very pleasant bunch of organisers, a few charity stalls and food stalls plus a good local pub. All in all probably make a good meeting point for a few Nobles. £3 entry if you want to show your car and free parking and entry if you are just visiting.
Link from last year is attached for info. http://www.tewinvillage.co.uk/FoT/index.html

What incentive to turn up in something nice have I missed?I was persuaded to take my car to a local village fete yesterday, competition for interest was three vintage tractors, an Austin 8, three old bikes (quite nice) and a fake XK Jag replica but all good fun.
OK I didn't pay £3 to exhibit but after the burger, cups of tea, tombola, cake, must have contributed as much to a village fund.

And I'd do the same, but pay to be the show? Hhmmm...Now doing this sort of thing http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...
I usually blow a tank of fuel, but hey, it's fun!

It must take more than a tank full to start and get out of your garage never mind running around Dunton

You're right they probably do know their market. I think they've taken their cue off the Chelsea Auto Legends lot
That'll cost you £8 extra to Rob_W said:
Making kids and people less fortunate than yourself smile?
Got it in one!And the money raised was going towards a new sports pavillion.
I would have happily paid out £3 to show the car - like around 150 other charitably minded drivers.
The show had a really welcoming feel to it - wasn't expecting much from it but was pleasantly surprised.
A fair few were making a day of it - beers and food in etc.
Worth a visit IMHO for anyone local(ish)
