MERCEDES 560 SEC

Hi Guys

This is my first entry on here so be gentle with me!

Ive just bought a beautiful classic Mercedes 560 SEC which unfortunately has been separated from all of its service history.

Can anyone help me find details of the history/paperwork which has been 'lost' ?

Ive seen previously that a Murray007 has assisted others although any help would be much appreciated.

Did you buy it from Ireland by any chance?

Do you have any idea who the local agent was? Perhaps you could contact Mercedes and ask them to check if there is any servicing data on the system, though usually they only have info pertaining to a particular dealership. Otherwise track down previous owners and ask for the name of the servicing agent. If you have the V5, you can check the mot history on the dvla site. this will also give you th name of the mot centre, and a lot of the time the cutomer will also use the mot centre for servicing.

No London & virtually certain it was originally out of an old now defunct Mercedes dealers Woking Motors of Walton on Thames.

how do you find the performance? i drove a 560 sel about ten years ago and i was a little disapppointed with the performance

V8 is just fantastic even though its 22 years old!

Didnt really buy it for the performance - had an 87 300SL loved the looks and styling and legendary build quality.

Love the looks of the SEC has AMG alloys which sets it off a treat. Real quality & style cruise slow watch the heads turn
