E36 318iS Information Please.
Discussion
Picking up a '99 318iS tomorrow, happy with the car overall considering the price I am paying but a few questions I need to ask.
Service Indicator lights - I know it will need a service soon-ish, last one in the book is at 98k (Inspection III), clock shows 103k. There is 1 green light left and an orange I think. How long approx. before it needs an Inpection I (if thats the next one required)?
Tyres - Rears will need replacing in maybe 2k miles, any recommendations?
Leather - Small scuff on drivers bolster, is there a leather restorer available, having never owned a car with leather before.
Paint - there are 2 small blemishes (50p size), it looks like it where bird s
t has been allowed to settle and affect the paintwork slightly. Best way to repair this or just leave it as its hardly noticeable.
Thanks for reading.

On the servicing side you have probably got til around 105K depending on the usaage the car gets, take it on a track day, for example, and it will probably need a service by the end of it.
If the last service carried out was an Inspection II it will be due an oil service next, then an Inspection I, then and oil service then an Inspection II.
Tyres, I always try to run a matching set on a car.
Leather, have a look here
Paint, try and polish them out with a little cutting compound (not T-cut).
