I got put through to a rather harassed blunt man who confirmed that the SLD920X can no longer be triggered by a remote control and has been tuned only to the 904nm range.
When I asked him if there was any other way to test it, he said no, when I asked about laser measuring devices he said he wasnt sure...
This was supposed to be a guy in technical, so its back to assuming and me getting hold of a golf laser measuring device at some point
