Does anyone on here ever park up on a motorway fly-over?

I witness this every week...travelling along 70mph(ish) on the M6, fairly heavy traffic and up ahead a sea of red illuminates the night sky, as stupid people slam on the brakes as they approach some ar53 hole who's parked up on a flyover reading the paper/having a fag/on the phone... causing the traffic to bunch up, drivers to become frustrated and generally impeeding progress on the road as they crawl under the bridge at 60 mph!

Do these people like pretending they are traffic cops or camera vans? Or are their lives so damn boring that sitting in their van or car and watching a procession of motorway munchers is the highlight of their day?

Someone please explain.

Yes. Same as the various bikers (normalls Pans) you see in high visability clothing and "discreet" but still bloody obvious black and white check patterns of the edge of the fairings.

I saw a yellow van parked on a bridge the other day that had the panels painted black to look like privacy glass. I was passing over the bridge as he was parked up. I had to ask myself what satisfaction is he getting out of that and why go to the cost of painting your van to look like a "saftey" camera van. I do actually hope some mindless idiot does mistake it as a camera van and smashes it the fk up.
