Astrophotography
Discussion
I know a couple of people who are into astronomy and have telescopes and like it - but I can't see the point. Hate to be negative but everything you're likely to find has already been found. It seems a bit like looking at, say, Leicester, then finding it in a road atlas and saying 'Ooh look, it's Leicester!'
last summer I went stargazing with my brother who has a 12 inch reflector meade telescope. we were looking at mars which was at an all time high ( big red swollen and low down in the sky actually!)
he had rigged up some kinda camera and has some software that can create a sort of eclectic image by selecting a series and gathering the best bits of each
he's an astro physisist works for european space agency, can ask him to help if you want.. it seems these Meade users have an internet forum just like us normal guys , I can try to find their location if you like
