Supply only UPVC
Discussion
Just been quoted £509 for a window as supply only.
1400 (h) x 1150 (w)
To look like this...

I think it's steep, had a quick "safestyle direct" moment, and can get a white window for £159 from them, so in my mind, add 40% for the oak style, £40 for lead effect? + 20% for superior quality? say circa £315 seems like where I want to be....
Any thoughts?

£300 ish is still quite high for supply only , where are you based
Well, I know I can get a builder who will work for £100 per day, and i'm pretty sure they can fit a couple of windows a day!So even if I add £50 onto the price of a window to cover fitting...
I just can't fathom it.
One company quoted £750!!! for ONE window!!
I told him to stop wasting my time, he got a right 'cob on' with me and left telling me I was wasting his time! cheeky sod.
It's the massive variances in prices between companies I can't stand.

I'm too far away to be able to help with the supply or fitting , but yes 2 windows of that size is easy money @ £100
Supply , even in oak finish , rectangular leading , K Glass and decent spec hardware £200 or just over is what I'd expect to pay at trade rates.
Okay, much appreciated, shame you're not closer!Supply , even in oak finish , rectangular leading , K Glass and decent spec hardware £200 or just over is what I'd expect to pay at trade rates.
Polycastle have a tradecounter around to the left handside of the showroom, just in side of the gate.
Petes Plastics is just down the road and I think there is another place around the corner again opposite Hales Scrap yard.
Ive only used Polycastle in the past for fascias so cant comment on the rest.
