Doors, Boot 'n' Windows gone

Hi Guys,

Floundering again - Sorry, starting to get a complex now !

Have just replaced my dying battery and had the usual alarm, windows closing and setting of the anti-intrusion system.

Turned off the alarm with the key fob, no probs but then couldn't get the doors or boot open. Broke my way in and the car started no probs. Lights work but the windows won't work.

I've checked fuses 8 - 12 which, according to the Owners Handbook are the ones to go for and all are OK but am a little worried about the layout described in TOH as most of the pages in it correspond to a 4.2 and the fuse layout does not correspond to my '01 4.5 layout.

Anyone any idea what the three I've highlighted here are for ?

I think if you look under the relay next to them it says spare fuses

Above the fuel tank is a number of control boxes. The large one controls the windows doors and boot. Try unplugging that blowing out the terminals and checking the wires that lead to it.

actually I disconnected the battery for 24 houirs, reconnected and everything is Hunky Dory.

Aahhhh, the mysteries and pleasures of Cerbera ownership.

Just really glad that none of these ailments I've suffered this year occured to me at the front of an irate queue waiting to dismount the Channel Tunnel
