Hi Guys.

Im looking for a new job.

Im currently working in Builders Merchant sales, in National Sales and Accounts, but finding it boring, and not challening.

Im wanting to get back out on the road, seeing customers, and Sorting out sales and accounts, I guess Field Based Sales Exec?

I guess what Im asking is, can you point me in the right direction, and the best people to ask? Or if anyone knows of any roles going, Ive spoken to 3 or 4 recruitment companies, who have my details on file, and a couple of roles in the pipeline.

Im not worried about staying in the same industry, but I'd imagine it would be more beneficial.

Im based in the South East Area, 23 years old, and been working in the same industry for the last 5-6 years.

Any help or guidance would be much appreciated!

Talk to everyone and figure out what direction you want to go in with your career, then find out how to work towards it.

You're young enough that nearly anything is possible so look at everyone you meet and think how would that job be, and would I want to do it.

Also, assuming you have no responsibilities like kids or a mortgage, don't be afraid to go out and try different things. I kind of fell into my career by picking up a 2 week temp assignment during the easter break when I was at university. I really enjoyed it and went back over summer, then got a similar role when I left.
