I drive stopped working

Hi Guys

A friend has a 55, 5 series that has developed a fault on the I drive.

The screen has gone blank and there is no functionality so the parking sensors dont work, the stereo doesnt work etc.

Has anyone else had this issue or know if there is a cure for it?

I had problems with mine but not as bad as that, tell him to try what I was advised on here... hold the CD eject button, DVD eject button and mute button at the same time. This will do a hard reboot.
