I've been there half a dozen times to buy a specific car which they claim to have and they either don't have the car that was advertised (sorry mate, sold half an hour ago) or there's been something seriously amiss with the paperwork or bodywork.

Cheers Pete. As I thought really. To be honest, a decent independent garage is very hard to find. I had heard bad things about them, so I think I'll give it a miss. Even if the car is straight, I don't like giving my money to a company with bad ethics.By all means go down and have a look, but keep your wits about you...
OT: How is that 130i of yours going? You may remember we went for a very slow drive with Fidg and a couple of others after the RR Sunday Service last year. I was impressed with the car and actually am tempted by a 130i M Sport now my Z4 has gone.
