Power steering rack origins...

Well, the PAS rack on my car has two important logos on it. Onw is the Ford oval, and the other the Cam Gears logo.

So its a Cam Gears rack (Cam Gears were bought by TRW some years ago), and was made for Ford by Cam Gears.

Does anyone know what TVR did to the rack when they modified them? I guess the length between the track rods might have been shortened?

Any ideas?

From the work I did on mine, it would seem the only thing they did was to alter the track control arm lengths.
