making a camper van/sizing of partition?

the vehicle is a 2003 ply lined mercedes sprinter and i wish to put up a divider/second bulkhead and i am having difficulties working out how to trim the wood to the curvature of the box body.

any ideas?

thought of using a cardboard dummy, cutting it to size and stencilling around but any better ideas would be most welcome!
