I'd say it is the Range Rover Evoque.

The red lotus thing looks like a really low evora. Possibly the Supercharged

It is the supercharged as it is the same colour and has the same reg plate as the evora s in all the spyshots

If I would be a test driver I would INSIST that every car I test should be checked on Nurburgring... and Spa... and Laguna Seca...

We all know the graffiti'ing on the track goes on at the 'Ring and it adds to the place but whatever bright sparks decided to 'tag-up' the new sound-muting boards at Breidscheid have now made it look like a council estate. Its a shame really.

RE Merc;

I think I may have spotted the same one the other day outside the Nurburgring. It was just passing under the bridge toward the petrol station. It looked and sounded amazing.

Sports cars/hot hatches/warm hatches.

But say something like a Kia Picanto... Lada Riva etc Pug 107... I see no benefit in these or similar cars.

Likewise say a 7 series they are all about comfort

I'd say it is the Range Rover Evoque.

I've seen a few of them on the M25 over the last couple of weeks in their camouflage, look good in the metal from what I could see.

I'd say it was a Merc too, I went to Stuttgart in July and there were many prototypes like this flying around the streets!

We get a surprising number of "camoflaged" (sp?) i.e. covered in black tape, cars in Luxembourg with Delphi Automotive having a large R&D base here. Only one I recognised was a RR Phantom, just because of it's sheer size!

We were there on the Thursday (19th)in the afternoon to watch the manufacturers cars and again early evening to go round the 'Ring. On the Friday/Sat/Sun(am) we were watching the German round of the WRC. Went again on the Sunday (22nd) to have a look a round - the Ring was being used by cyclists - at last I found people who were slower than the Freelander
