Cruise control installed
Discussion
Just finished installing a Global Cruise cruise control unit from Dakota Digital in my S4s and so far it works and looks great. Was able to find a control handle which integrates nicely on the steering wheel column surround under the turn signal arm. The unit was approximately $230 plus shipping which included a few bucks extra for the control arm I wanted.
The wiring and hookup were surprisingly easy and it took me about 4-5 hours to do the job. As is typical, knowing what I know now I could do it again quite a bit quicker.
I am quite pleased with this mod and looking forward to a long road trip this weekend without a cramping right leg.
I have pics if anyone is interested.

Jim,
I'd really be interested in the pics. Suspect it won't work on my car as there's no speed sensor wire to hook into, but I'd love to see it anyway. Happy Motoring! ...Jim'85TE
