Yeah, I'm going. I don't wish to worry you but the last T/D I did was at Goodwood in March and it was raining and I had a little off that unfortunately destroyed my car eek
There was no one else involved and proceedings were not held up for too long (easy for me to say I know hehe).
I will be in a Hellrot red BMW 318is rolling on the same rims and 888's that I last used on that fateful day but have no fear, I will be learning my new steed and behaving my self in an until now never before seen mature adult fashion so no more crashing from me sir; well, I will try not to, promise evil

^^^ Lightweight biggrin
The good news is that the weather is due to stop raining by 0700hrs. Goodwood does seem to fair rather well when it is seemingly raining all around but now I have said that it is bound to be a washout frown
I have driven on slicks there in the rain. I wanted to see what it was like. I did about 3 laps and when I came in the marshal's all cheered and clapped, cheeky little beggars hehe

Not got much tread on my track wheels so will be fun while the track is damp. I can just see it now when I wake up and look out the window to be confronted by a monsoon lol.

^^^ No need to panic my good man, you have to use it to loose it and I have been doing neither biggrin
What a great day. Varying weather conditions, good array of vehicles and some bloody nice chaps to boot: I LOVE GOODWOOD! cloud9

Glad to hear your being philosophical about it, but still sorry to hear it ended up thus! I saw it once at the Goodwood Breakfast club, did look the business.

I did three laps of Goodwood in a Diablo on one of those "experience" days, despite being told to stay in 4th gear I was impressed at how fast a track it is!

Was a great day and nice to meet some fellow Pistonheaders. The start of the day can only be described as driving on ice eek but quickly dried out and after lunch was perfect.

Hi Guys ...I was there in an old Porsche ( 1969 911E ) , it was a tale of two halves - before lunch and after lunch . Surprisingly few stoppages in spite of lots of BMWs there wink

Here's a quick clip from the drying out afternoon session proving that an M3 is quite quick smile

^^^ It was good to finally make your acquaintance proper after so long lizard man thumbup
It would seem that the cheaper the car, the more fun was being had, but then again we would say that wouldn't we wink
I popped in for a look yesterday and it was like a different world. On Friday I would say the average cost of a car there was about 5K ( not ours obviously hehe ), but Saturday it was about 50K eek what a difference a day makes 'eh rolleyes
There was even a Veyron in the car park! although I deliberately ignored it; that'll teach them irked
Look forward to seeing you again, maybe at the Nordschleife? Adios amigo bandit
