I like my old XJ8 so much that I will be keeping it smile. I am considering having a sunroof fitted, one of the large fabric "Webasto" type. Has anyone had this done?

I've been fitting sunroofs for nearly 30 years. Have done a few in xj's, both folding fabric and slide and tilt inbuilt. There are no issues in fitting them, the hollandia 400 is a good one its electric and measures 832mm x 1130mm and costs about 900 quid. The only issue is the risk of someone damaging the topping, i quess it depends where you park it.

Sorry to hi jack....Paul where are you, or what is your company called. We have recently had 2 cars with sunroof problems, my Jaguar Sovereign with a faulty electrical one, and my wifes Peugeot with an aftermarket one, which we never got sorted !...both cars sold now, but I am in Toddington, so you must be close.

Thanks

Russell
