Gearbox/Diff oil
Discussion
Jack the front first - handbrake on, jack under the middle of the car under the centre of the cross member (mind the sump!)- two stands under the strengthened section of the sills 4inches from the front.
Jack under the diff, lift it again, 2 more stands under the same strengthened bit of the sills near the rear wheels.
If the cars low you might have to start by driving onto bricks/planks to get the jack under.
Tip 1 - make sure you undo the FILL plug of the box/diff BEFORE you undo the DRAIN plug.
Tip 2 - ISTR the diff is a funny size socket, 23mm?
Tip 3 - to refill the diff remove the back box, or at least drop the exhuast off its hangers a bit - makes it loads easier to get in.
ETA Tip 4 - make the most of the effort of getting the car jacked right up there - undo all the wheels first, take em off and get under there with your hose/jet washer, and a old brush, and clean all the s
te out of your arches, front wings, nooks and crannie

Et voila -

You'll want it higher than that to get to the gearbox - get the car onto the stands at their lowest notch first - THEN raise it up one end at a time, bit by bit.
Always, always grab the windscreen surround and give it a really good tug about first to check the car is rock solid stable before you get under it.
