Can't believe how quiet the LFA is. I thought the only good bit was the engine, and if it's that quiet what's the point!

Still think the blue is a brave choice. Now this however :-

Might be a bit 80's in some ways I guess but I think it works?

Magazine is an interesting read. Whilst the M600 gives best VMAX, it loses out in the quarter mile by quite a lot.

So if you want an autobhan top speed machine, it appears the M600 is your kit of choice. If you want to get to 70 quickest off the lights, you can't beat a F458 it seems.

Epic F1 sound, great if it were allowed to go into production smile

Bet you that's down to oil mist on hot exhaust pipes rolleyes

When will they learn?

F430 had a few go up in smoke

F355 even more, over 1100 cars re-called for fuel pipe issue.

Still makes a better everyday supercar IMO (fires aside) laugh

That Honda sound is top drawer! they really need to fill the hole the NSX left behind, this car would be just the ticket (especially with that engine), unfortunately if it does materialise it will probably be as quiet as the LFA frown

They've got that launch control working well. Just how many times you can do those sort of starts is another matter...

Basic one is £123k and I believe it's a sorted car. Probably nothing compared to the M600 or 458 but I suppose spec it's £60k cheaper. That said it doesn't look much in my eyes.

The Porsche is a performance bargain and truly useable every day they don't even attract the attention that the others on this test command (maybe a problem for some) I think that is probably due to the evolution of the shape (not much different over the last decade or so) and the ubiquitousness (if that's a Word) of the 911 bloodline.
Yes they go round corners, slow in fast out,4 wheel drive helps with the traction. they do have a pretty decent stability system to combat that lift off oversteer problem of old, I had the 996 version turbo and was glad of the "helping hand" a couple of times!
I don't think I would buy another, though a GT2 RS (two wheel drive) could figure in the distant future.
If you want one I would wait for a good two /three year old example and sell it a year later for what you paid for it!
If you get a freshly serviced example with good tyres you may only need to put fuel in during your ownership!

When I did the 0-100-0 stuff for Autocar the GT2 gave me the most trouble off of the line, but remember all Porsche press cars come off a "special" production line and are crushed when finished with!

500 and something. But the Porker has a warranty and you can insure it, something that's getting very hard with any GTR, let alone a modded one. Insurers hate them.
