Reckon the price is justified? I've always pined after one of these but it seems pricey for a 964 derivative!

If I’m mistaken Dan the same people have or had a RHD version for about £65k. If it is the same one it was featured in one of the Porsche magazines late last summer and was won by Nick Faldo and has been around for a bit which tells a bit of a story. Paragon also sold a yellow one for just about £58k late last year but again a RHD car.

I’ve been on the hunt for a good clean 965 for ages and the only one which I can find a present is an all white car for sale with a dealer down in Southend and is I think an import from the Gulf. The up side is that it’s only done about 12k but could you live with an all white car?

Otherwise £51K doesn’t seem to bad for is after all a damn rare piece of Porsche history

Wouldn't work for me in white either Blacks not a colour I'd normally choose, but on a 965 it seems perfect. For me this is the most beautiful Porsche ever.

Hate to think how hard it would be to get spares for things like the carbon bonnet

It's worth it just to drive along with a mate going "Bad Boys Bad Boys... Whatcha gonna do Whatcha gonna do..."

(Awaits some clever sod telling me that it isn't actually the Bad Boys car... )

Hate to say it but the one in Bad boys was in fact a straight 965 and not a 965S as shown in the piccy……………………………….Similar of course but not the big Kahoona shown

I came achingly close to doing a deal on one the tiny handful of the flat front / Flachbau (sp) derivatives about two years ago but simply couldn’t rid myself of the horrendous Cerbera in time.

I still suffer flash backs to when I was told that it had been sold what made it worse was the plastic pig went just days later and I would now be in possession of what Dan describes as the most beautiful Porsche ever, hey ho! Actually the Flachbau wasn’t, its those damn Speedlines that do it

The 3.6 has 3 piece speedlines which are pure sex, and the centre section of rear bumper is that off the RS....

triple magenta interior-no wonder there's no pics of the inside.

The 3.6 also has better suspension and visually sits lower and looks far nicer. IMHO.

The Turbo S is not the Nick Faldo car. There was 2 RHD in black and this is the other one. Asking 61,995. The LHD one is now sold.
