For some peculiar reason the n/s of my two-eight's bonnet is sitting a few mil above the wing. It's sitting proud the length of the bonnet so I'm assuming it's not distortion in the bonnet.

It's been bugging me for a while but not been bugging me enough to attack the hinges, as that looks a real PITA, however someone mentioned to me recently that it's possible to adjust the spring pin which latches into the slam panel.

Is that right? If so, how would that work?

I'm not going out to look at my e36 in the rain, but if it's out at the front then almost any car has rubber adjusters that you can screw in or out to fine tune the height.

Thanks but the rubber block's already screwed down as far as it'll go on that side.

It's up all along that side of the bonnet, not just the front too.
