Great program but after all these years how are people not recognising them?



1) The people in the show are meant to have been set up by their mates for some of the cons so maybe they play along?

2) I doubt its totally faked

3) They must get caught out sometimes due to being recognised

its either all set up or they just dont air them, they are very good at what they do although i think it just shows people how to do these scams properly rather than avoid them, i didn't know about any scams before the show, after one episode you learn a scam, people must tempted to try them because they give every detail as to how to pull it off therefore making it more dangerous for the public

When I was on holiday in Rome about 3 years ago, I actually saw one bloke doing the same scam that I saw on The Real Hustle a little while before I went.

I saw somebody pulling the Perfume scam in Solihull high street a couple of weeks ago.

Poor girl fell for it to.
