Hi, all.
Looking at a car 4 sale with IMC. Im out of country and buying sight unseen. Have visited premises many years ago and seem to have been around some time, but never actually bought from them. Do they include a warranty in their price or is the usual if you want a warranty you pay for it on top of asking price and then get you to sign a disclaimer that you rejected warranty! (becoming all to common with dealers IMHO)
Oh and how did you do on pricing. Ive no part ex and cash buy.

Experience welcome good and bad. PM me if you want to take of line.

Cheers in advance and heres to the weekend as Im off to the pub. Its 5pm here so not to early.

I was interested in buying what looked like a clean M5 from there a few months ago. Sent a few e-mails but they just didn't respond.

They seem to have some nice (if slightly expensive) stock though.

I rate them. Bought two cars from them now, both have been perfect - no issues mechanical or otherwise. Latest being a nearly 80k M3 which I got a decent deal on with a PX (Land Rover). David (owner) seems a nice bloke, doesn't take the p!ss and yes, they're a bit pricier than others but they genuinely are M specialists. Hope that helps, feel free to PM.

If you search here and various BMW M forums you'll find that experience with IMC seems a little mixed... to the extent that buying something from them sight unseen might be a bit optimistic.

I bought a car from them in 2006 -an E36 Evo.

All round they were alright but when I tried to resolve an issue on their warranty they told me the company they used was refusing to cover cars of that ilk...even though it was their bread and butter trade.

Like anything, they are a used car dealer that happens to predominatly deal with M cars; Thus they are a buisness so will duck and dive if possible!

I would have an independant report done prior.
