It's a long story, but due to various reasons I don't know who supplies gas and electricity to a flat I own and am in the process of selling. How can I find out, short of ringing them all?

If you're unsure of your current supplier then you can contact the Meter Point Administration Service (MPAS) for your area. You can obtain your local MPAS office number from Directory Enquiries . To find your gas supplier you can contact xoserve (formerly National Grid) on 0870 608 1524.

i had this problem with a rental property a few years ago.i seem to recall that the meters have a id number on them from which any supplier can id the current supplier.i would just get the id number and phone a supplier to set up a new account from which a final bill from the old supplier will result or they may even tell you who the current supplier is.
