The Panasonic TX-P50U20B?

As far as I can see, the main difference between this and more pricey versions is the 400hz rate versus a 600Hz rate - will that make much difference?

Also as I'll be looking to keep the TV for around 8-10 years, does this look a good choice?


PS. This is a forced purchase. I am happy with my 36" Sony WEGA CRT TV that I bought in 1999. The missus however diagrees that the living room is the place for a behemoth 90kg lump of glass, plastic and metal.

I think the U20 is an X20 but rebadged for a specific retailer, the ped will be different too. Comet per chance?
