My old Mondeo has developed a water leak, the passenger side footwell is soaked. Thought it was the pollen filter so replaced that & replaced the main gasket but no joy. If I hose that section of body work the drip is running down by where the fuse box is, I know there is a grommet there so will take a look tonight. If it proves obscure is there any product that acts like water but..er...expands or plugs holes as it goes?! I sure as hell aint taking the dash out to get to the bottom of this one. Cheers

A tube of mastic may help in this instance

Yeah that was what I was thinking. Hopefully it will stop raining tomorrow so I can check it out.

I filled every seam etc with PU, was fine in the rain but leaked again when washing! Found a rubber grommet covering a cavity where it seemed to be coming from, one £4 can of expanding foam and the fking leak has gone for good.
