Who left his car out in the rain hoping that it wasn't going to leak!

Ok, call me stupid - but went to get new proxies on the back only to find two small paddling pools in the foot wells! lucky the interior carpet was already rotten.......

John, check your door seals in the bottom corner on the hinge side sometimes they come off and cause the water to seep in, i put a small bit of silicone on the underside then pressed seal back on [sorted].

Just replaced all the door and roof sills, meant to do this before the rains started - but the carpet is crud and has been subject to water before, so just another job for the winter smile

how are your flaps...... little piece of plastic fabric that drops down when the lid is up. It is usually at the hinge for the loop and should divert water from the roof channels to go down the outside of the door seals.

On mine there are cut outs at the bottom should any water get to the inside of the seal with the door closed.

Water proof the fabric. Run off of the water stops it doing the syphon to the inside bit of a water soaked fabric.
