A pressure washer!
I'm after my first pressure washer. Will need one soon for some general home duties,but I am thinking more for snow foaming my car. I notice Karcher seem to have been harranged on here for reliabilty! (would have been my 1st choice "known brand") So what would PHers reccomend? What features should I look for? Looking to spend >£150 could probably streach to a little more if necassary!

In lieu of a proper heavy duty foam lance fitment, I'd have recommended the slightly more than your budget Makita HW130.
Still would on the basis its specs and true brass head (as opposed to brass coloured aluminium) makes it a better choice for driveway/patio cleaning.
So, if that's not a goer, then many of the guys on DW plum for the Nilfisk/Alto Kew ones at around your budget level.
An alternative to that would be the Stihl ones - one on ebay ending tomorrow noonish, which you might get for a bit of a bargain.
