New badges - suggestions please

Suggestions please. Had a bash at reconditioning my gold badges some time ago, took some paint stripper to them both which worked a treat and removed all paint back to the plating. However, I quite like the front one bare but the rear is too much - going to get a nice new one from Leven but what colour?! Have to deffo stick with the gold badge but what about the infill? What do you reckon?

Was up at Leven the other week, saw a few coloured badges, still reckon that a dark colour look best, what about black?

I’ve got a Leven front badge its base colour is a dark purple, I think it goes well with red. OH

Very observant Jigs, that's a chamois on the hood and yes, the doors are indeed open. Now what about the badge?

Black and gold look very classy! - and will go with the red/magnolia. If you can't get the same colour red it may clash IMHO.

if you have access to a colour printer try out some basic options. I would try red and magnolia.
