Alternative to Florida in Oct

Any suggestions for somewhere warm in early October? The flight prices to Florida seem to be a bit expensive at the moment.

Just looking for a villa based holiday to slob around a private pool for a week.

Crete or Cyprus will still be warm and the flights should be a lot Cheaper! have a look at James Villas!

Canary Islands. We did the first week in March this year and it was beach weather. Have done first week in October in the past and it was boiling.
We use Thomson who are reasonable on flight prices and www.ownersdirect.co.uk to book a villa.
