As per the title!

I mean, if the MCS pops and bags on the over run like the JCW does (or I've read it does) then that's enough for me biggrin

Our mcs pops and bangs like a trooper! It sounds fantastic :-) in terms of pace the 0-60 isn't vastly different but in gear acceleration must be a fair bit quicker considering it has up to 40bhp more depending on model

Yes! It's like a MCS + 20%, the overall package is good plus it's very rare!

Yeah the factory Works is a nice bit of kit smile They seem to be making more power than BMW claim as well!

I've had my factory works exactly 2 years, brilliant thing, and you really don't see many about either. The exhaust never gets old either.....

Had ours 20 months... (factory JCW that is). Have been in the 'popping' new Cooper S, and while it feels very quick, it's only when you get in a JCW that you realise one is quick and the other is bloody mental!biggrin

My wife wants us to sell it but I am loathe to. It's just a hell of a lot of fun (VERY fast fun!).

It's only lately that I have seen the odd one on the road (and I live in Oxfordshire), so yeah, it's a rare sight too.

I love my new Cooper S but I will almost certainly replace it with a JCW.

Indeed. Mine showed 230bhp at Surrey Rolling Road. Yes, I know we can all argue the merits of RR figures, but it was significantly up on the standard power figures.

Yup sounds about right, I've seen a lot of them making power in that range and beyond!

Mmm.

Decisions, decisions.

I can't decide whether to get a good, fast Mini for my wife as a day to day car and for my fun car (Octavia vRS company car as well) or buy her a normal Copper and then have some spare money and to put a 10 year old MX5 in the garage for the weekend and 3 or 4 track days a year.
