where to hire an sl500

Afternoon all,

A quick request for help from you knowledgeable people. It's my dads birthday in a couple of weeks time, and he's been looking to buy an sl500 (4th generation) for some time. Obviously I can't afford to buy one, but I can probably hire one for a weekend. If I could find one for hire! So that's my question for you chaps; where can I hire a 4th gen sl500 in southern England?

Germany.

Flights and a nice hotel will be more than paid for by the saving.

Plus there are derestricted Autobahnen.

Europcar have them; only difficulty is that you may end up with an SL300 or SL350 but if he was all about the speed, I don't think the SL would be the dream car.

Do the SL shop have one? They have a 107 for hire.

Any good? Never hired one from either. I did consider renting my old man a Conti GT for his retirement. But (last year) the price was horrendous! £3K for a long weekend!
