I rent my flat out and I have insurance to cover non-payment of rent, but I haven't been able to find anything to cover damage to the flat from things outside mine or the tenant's control, i.e. flood/boiler burst etc.

Buildings insurance is covered by the management company. I'm told that contents has to be arranged by the tenant.

Is there any insurance I can get for this as a landlord?

Yes it does. Thanks for that!

Oddly, I spoke to DL as I had car insurance with them and they said they didn't do landlord insurance. I guess the call centre was having an off day.
