Dorset police are appealing for the owner of a giant full susser to contact them. It has been recovered, believed stolen but the victim cannot be traced. Any ideas?

Seems Dorset police are trying to stop the recent stories in the local press that show them to be incomopetent, uncaring fools.
They stopped a local homeless junkie on a £2k bike and asked him if it was his, when he responded "yes" the let him on his way.
A bloke saw his bike being taken and rode off, he called the police and told then the bike was stolen and where it was and was told to flag down the next officer he saw. By coincidence he saw a cop on a motorbike and told him the story and he could still see the guy riding off. He was asked if he could describe the bike when he said yes he was told to go to the station and fill out a report. No attempt was made to get the thief and bike.

The local cops ( Dorset police) do not take bike theft seriously and are under fire for this. My experience backs this up.

Nottinghamshire have given up on car crime never mind bike theft.

Im still on the lookout for my GT Backwoods that was stolen two years ago!
