Still the search facility is down. So the other night I removed my slightly loose wing mirror glass, now I can't get it back in. Also what was the trick for stopping it vibrate, which was the reason for me removing it in the first place!

Found this hope it helps

putting a piece of electrical tape around the adjuster bar so that it is thicker and offers more resistance, however, I noticed that eventhough my car came with that mod, my passenger side mirror still did not maintain the angle I set so I put a rubber piece behind the mirror to hold it in the right spot for me and it has been perfect ever since.
