Hey guys,

Does anyone know some good off-road photo spots for my very non-PH Jeep around the Meon Valley? I'm looking for somewhere reasonably open (no overgrown tracks, think of the paintwork loser ), public access, interesting terrain and background. Ideally I'd like to find some big rocks or similar so I can exercise the suspension and so on, but anything more interesting than a forest track would be good.

I know some of you do photoshoots and so on, so if you've taken anything off-road and wouldn't mind sharing the location, or just know somewhere that might look good, I'd appreciate it smile

And don't worry, I still remember my PH roots, so expect to see my car driven courteously and for me to get out of your way if you're pressing on! smile

Why don't you get your butt over to the Offroad section on here and ask again?
There are quite a few of us PHers who indulge in the mud too. I have a U1000 Unimog and a 1979 CJ7 with all the doodahs on.
Other than pay and Play sites ( C.O.R.E, MuddyBottom and the sites at Bordon) I don't have too much to suggest unless you head up to the plain.

Yeah, the problem is most of the old byways in Hampshire have now been re-classified as restricted byways thanks to the government and the bloody red sock brigade!

Wiltshire however is a different scene altogether, plenty of byways over that way for decent off road shots.

Here you go matey, have a look at the online maps from HCC.

http://whereilive.hants.gov.uk/rightsofway/webform...

You're looking for anything marked brown. The byways marked in blue are ones you used to be able to drive.......................

There's hardly anyway brown marked byways left, as if the greedy fecking ramblers didn't have enough footpaths to erode, they campaigned and complained like buggery and the majority of councils who were too bloody lazy (HCC TAKE NOTE) and too tight (they'd already spent tax payers money on fat salaries) to maintain the byways took the easy route and closed them up.
