Progress wiped battlefield bad company2

Don't know what happened. Was playing earlier and all was fine

Logged on again a bit later and I've been reset. Lost all progress, weapons etc.
Platform is ps3

What do I do?

Damn, bad news. Hope its back when you try again tonight? I have heard it go for a couple of people and then all come back the next day. You might be lucky.

I was thinking of starting again though anyway. See how I get on without Magnum.

I think EA or Gamespy were moving their servers this weekend. You'd think they'd do it outside of peak time ie when most of their players are likely to be at work/school. I noticed it on BF2 although it didn't bother me as I take great satisfaction in using the basic weapons you start off with these days. Being kicked off the game routinely was annoying, though, and that was also one of the problems experienced.

There's something deeply satisfying about wading into the melee with a one-shot shotgun and taking out bunnyhoppers. kuchunk... BANG... kuchunk... BANG.
