D-turbo - bit more power?
Discussion
Might be in a position where by I get given a 1997 306 D-Turbo for less than nothing, and I was going to smoke about in it (literally) while I try and get a few outstanding jobs done on my MX5. Mechanically it seems very sound, and seeing as it owes me nothing I wouldn't mind extracting a few more ponies to exploit its lovely chassis more effectively. I was under the impression that these engines responded quite well to a bit of mild tweaking, any pointers people?

if you know how to tweak the diesel pump then go for it. but i do believe that peugeot fitted two types of pump, one is easy to tweak, the other isnt
also, the inlet manifolds on the d turbos get completely snotted up with soot and the egr system doesnt help. give the egr and the inlet a good cleaning out as a first thing on the list to do
