I'm trying to get a couple of aircraft drop tanks, under 10' long.

Where would be a good place to find some for sale??

There were a couple on eBay a few months ago, I thought about turning them into bookshelves. A museum oop north is also selling a fuselage section from an old Hawker. Might be worth dropping them a line.

As a matter of interest what do you want them for?

Good idea if all your books have concave undersides!

Now if you could turn a bookshelf into a drop-tank that'd be impressive...

Easy job. Stand tank on end, cut out front, insert shelving made from various aircraft bracketry, polish.
