Changing the bonnet on the Stang

Hello folks,

I am going to attempt to change over bonnets on the Stang this weekend and was wondering if there were any helpful tips or tricks I should know before I mess the job up.

The cardinal rule is not to change your girly bonnet but to change the car's HOOD!

Good luck. It was hard enough removing the Corvette roof which on lifting immediately became a parasail capable of blowing you over backwards so keep it level and flat as possible.

I just knew after I had posted the thread that I should have put hood in the title To be honest I thought Swerni would have picked me up before you did Lu51fer

I now have the task of trying to get it to fit into a Kia Sedona, which with the seats out will not fit. However I hope to overcome this with the seats in and plenty padding on the folded seats so bonn...erm hood up high, only have to make sure I don't take my head off while braking!!

what kind of hood are you installing? a aftermarket straight bolt on of a bolt on rear with pins in front or a 4 pin race one?
